Cope's Landing Community Development District
The Cope’s Landing Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, and established on January 11, 2023 by the City Council of the City of Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida, Ordinance No. 2022-861-E to plan, establish, acquire, construct or reconstruct, enlarge or extend, equip, operate, and maintain systems and facilities described and authorized by Section 190.012, Florida Statutes.
The Cope’s Landing CDD is located entirely within the boundaries of the City of Jacksonville, Florida, and covers approximately 293.48 acres of land. The site is generally located north of Pritchard Road, south of Garden Street, and west of Cisco Drive West. The District is the best alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.

The Cope’s Landing Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, and established on January 11, 2023 by the City Council of the City of Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida, Ordinance No. 2022-861-E-to plan, establish, acquire, construct or reconstruct, enlarge or extend, equip, operate, and maintain systems and facilities described and authorized by Section 190.012, Florida Statutes. Consent is hereby granted to exercise the power to plan , establish, acquire, construct or reconstruct, enlarge or extend, equip, operate and maintain additional systems and facilities for parks and facilities for indoor and outdoor recreational, cultural, and educational uses and security, including, but not limited to guardhouses, fences and gates, electronic intrusion detection systems, and patrol cards, all to be exercised only in compliance and consistent with all applicable laws including the city’s 2030 Comprehensive Plan and City’s land development regulations.
